Some political analysts don’t believe the National Convention will yield positive results for the country.
The much-anticipated two-day convention kicks off at UNISA’s Pretoria campus today.
It will set the agenda for the upcoming National Dialogue that will take place across the country in the coming months.
Major foundations have already withdrawn from the preparatory task team.

Political Analyst, Ebrahim Fakir says ordinary citizens have been left behind.
Meanwhile, University of Johannesburg’s Professor Steven Friedman, notes that any resolutions taken at the convention won’t be binding.
