The SAPS CFO, denies advocating for the disbandment of the Political Killings Task Team.

Patricia Dimphane, appeared before Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee yesterday.

Embattled Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu and suspended deputy commissioner, Shadrack Sibiya, used her document in their testimony, before this committee.

They told MPs that the finance department, was unhappy with the task team’s costing.

But Dimphane says that was not the case.

She says the document, addressed the required additional funding, for the task team for this year.

Dimphane says, in it she also suggested to national commissioner Fannie Masemola that the task team be made a permanent unit.

She’s not happy that the document was used, without her consent.
