Police are remaining mum about their investigation into the murder of a prominent strawberry farmer.

62-year-old Jeffrey Zetler was killed during a robbery at the Mooiberge strawberry farm outside Stellenbosch on Saturday.

It’s understood Zetler, who’d been transporting his workers home at the time, was murdered on his wife’s birthday.

The police’s Andre Traut says no one’s been brought to book yet.

“The circumstances surrounding the case are still under investigation and the developments that are being made, cannot be disclosed at this stage,” says Traut.
