The Departments of Police and Public Works and Infrastructure, could soon be invited to Parliament, over the apparent poor state of the Belhar Police Station.

Parliamentarians were shocked, this week, by the shoddy conditions that the local staff are working under.

It’s alleged that the detectives, cops and administrators are crammed into small rooms.

The staff there, are operating from a property which has limited space.

The MPs now plan to draft a report with their oversight visit findings, and this will be handed to the Police portfolio committee for action.
