The knives are expected to come out today, as Members of the Western Cape Legislature debate Premier Alan Winde’s Provincial Opening of Parliament Address.
Winde delivered his speech in the Legislature on Wednesday.
In it, he’s again announced grand plans for the province.
But, exactly how he and his cabinet plan to deliver on these promises, amid hefty budget cuts remains to be seen.
Winde’s promised to decrease the Province’s unemployment rate to 20% and ensure a job in every home.
Opposition parties aren’t buying any of this, labelling Winde’s speech a repeat of yesteryear.
