It remains unclear whether the body of a young boy found in Phillipi, is indeed that of a boy kidnapped in Nyanga.
The family of eight-year-old Lukhololwam Mkontwana is expected to visit the Salt River Mortuary on Thursday to identify the body.
Although some family members have already said they strongly believe it to be him.
Lukhololwam was abducted last Friday while playing with friends.
The following Monday, the body of a young boy was found in Siqalo, Phillipi.
The Nyanga Community Police Forum’s Dumisani Qwebe says the mother is distraught.
