The State has been given until next month for police to complete the final investigations into the kidnapping of Joshlin Smith.
On Monday, the Vredenburg Magistrate’s Court granted the State’s request for a postponement to the 21st of October.
This, after an investigating officer had received new evidence on the case.
Exactly what that evidence is, remains unclear at this stage.
Authorities are adamant, though, that they have the right people in custody.
It’s been seven months since Joshlin’s disappearance, while in the care of her mother’s boyfriend.
