11 gang members in the Southern Cape have been sentenced to more than 140 years behind bars in total.
They were responsible for killing two men, and seriously injuring two other during a clash inside #MosselBay prison in 2016.
Police spokesperson, Noloyiso Rwexana says one of the gang members will serve a further 25 years behind prison walls.
All the sentences come to a total of 142 years imprisonment.
The investigating team is highly praised by Police Management in the Western Cape who were exceedingly pleased about the convictions and sentencing,” says Rwexana.
