Western Cape Police are still hunting for the suspects responsible for a group killing in Tulbagh and have offered a reward for information that leads to an arrest.
It’s believed the victims attended a gathering at a home in the area, when unknown suspects approached the home and opened fire.
Four men were killed, a fifth man was injured, but the remainder of the group managed to escape unharmed.
Police launched a 72-hour activation plan over the weekend to try and snuff out the perpetrators, and authorities have since put up a R100, 000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
Police Oversight and Community Safety MEC, Reagan Allen, asked for the community’s help in flushing out the criminals.
“I’m utterly shocked how criminals can be so brazen to take out firearms and just decide to shoot people does not make any sense. We dare not allow this lawlessness to take route and continue”.
