The first day of the Joshlin Smith kidnapping trial has concluded.
Her mother Kelly Smith and two others, are on trial in the Western Cape High Court, sitting in Saldanha Bay.
The trio has pleaded not guilty today.
They face charges of kidnapping and human trafficking.
