Justice Minister Thembi Simelane has denied accusations that she will influence the prosecution of VBS Mutual Bank cases.
Simelane appeared before Parliament’s Justice Portfolio Committee on Friday to answer to allegations that she’d improperly benefited from the looting as well.
She’d received a loan from a company linked to the VBS saga.
This, during her tenure as Polokwane mayor in 2016.
The company in question is Gundo Wealth Solutions, which had provided services to the municipality Simelane had led.
