Acting Police Minister Professor Firoz Cachalia has called on Interpol delegates to develop practical polices to clamp down on organised crime in Africa.

The three-day Interpol African Regional Conference is taking place at Century City, in Cape Town.

Cachalia addressed the forum on Wednesday.

He emphasised the need for collaboration among African countries to tackle cross-border crime.
