The Home Affairs Department believes that Nigerian pastor, Timothy Omotoso…. could still be extradited to face charges.
Omotoso was deported to his home country, on Sunday.
He’s been banned from entering South Africa… for at least five years.
Following a lengthy trial, Omotoso was freed by the Gqeberha High Court…. on a range of charges… including rape and trafficking.
The National Prosecuting Authority… confirmed that it’s appealing the decision.
