The Minister of Basic Education, Siviwe Gwarube has detailed plans to tackle crime at schools across the country.

This includes cases of bullying, gangsterism and sexual violence.

Gwarube and her police counterpart briefed the media at Parliament on Tuesday.

They’ve signed a new School Safety Protocol document.

This document outlines how police and education authorities will deal with ongoing criminality at schools.
