The GOOD Party wants the office of the Public Protector, to look into misconduct allegations, levelled against George’s deputy mayor.
Raybin Figland faces sexting allegations.
He’d allegedly been sexually inappropriate with a 19-year-old matriculant.
The DA took a decision to suspend him from all party activities, earlier this year.
The internal party process into this matter, has not been finalised.
And yet, he continues to serve in his position as deputy mayor of George.
A few months back, the George Council conducted its own investigation into the matter.
It accepted the investigative report, which found the evidence to be inconclusive.
Much to the ire of the GOOD Party.
