It remains unclear when South Africa’s Air Traffic Navigation Service will complete the air navigation compliance review process.
The group has announced the indefinite suspension of flight operations to five major airports across the country, on Friday.
It is currently conducting maintenance work, which is affecting all flights to George, Kimberley, Mthatha, Polokwane and Richards Bay.
Airlink is among those airline companies affected.
