The State is in the spotlight once again for its poor handling of sexual offence cases.
A Magistrate in the case against a former Mitchell’s Plain teacher, was not happy with the performance of both the Prosecutor…. and the investigating officer on Monday.
They failed to adequately make their arguments…. in opposing the woman’s bail application.
They’ve now been sent back to the drawing board.
The proceedings have been postponed until next week.
