Deputy police minister Polly Boshielo has defended her role in the national executive.

She was questioned in Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee yesterday, on what the use of a Deputy Minister’s office, is.

Boshielo and Cassel Mathale, have been in office for a year, without any designated duties.

Some political parties have criticised the appointments, citing a waste of funds.

But Boshielo disagrees.

Boshielo is adamant that she is working.
