The DA won’t withdraw its court application to set aside the proposed VAT hike.
The application will be heard in the Western Cape High Court next week.
The party wants the court to urgently interdict the implementation scheduled for the 1st of May 2025.
The DA is also challenging the Finance Minister’s powers to change VAT without consulting Parliament.
The party’s Willie Aucamp says they’ll go ahead with the litigation….
