The DA and Labour Minister Nomakhosazana Meth will square off in the Pretoria High Court on Tuesday, over the Employment Equity Amendment Act.
Minister Meth published regulations that introduce race targets in the workplace.
They’re expected to come into effect in September.
But, the DA argues that this violates the country’s constitution.
The party says it’s worried by the penalties the Minister may impose on companies that fail to comply.
