It’s National Science week.
And there’s a strong focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics or STEAM.
The City’s Community Services head Francine Higham says various programmes are taking place aimed at inspiring young minds.
These are being held at around 33 libraries across the city.

At the same time, the Education Department’s Millicent Merton says National Science week exposes learners to an array of science initiatives….
She says this makes information more easily accessible to learners irrespective of their soci-economic circumstances….
