The City of Cape Town is pulling out all of the stops to ensure that all tourist attractions in the Metro are safe during the festive season.
The municipality launched its safer festive plan, yesterday.
Scores officers will be patrolling beaches, shopping malls and hiking trails during the summer holidays.
More than 5000 members will be deployed across the Metro during the festive period.

At the same time, the City’s JP Smith says officers won’t be withdrawn from normal duties during this period….
