The City of Cape Town should brace itself for another court challenge over its 2025/26 budget.
Afriforum also plans to drag the municipality to court, regarding the implementation of new tariff structures for water, sanitation and electricity.
The group believes this move is illegal.
The South African Property Owners Association was the first group to approach the Western Cape High Court.
The association wants the court to declare the new tariffs be reviewed and set aside.
