Taxi association,Cata has apologised to all commuters, following recent violence in Cape Town.
Its affiliate association in Lwandle, is in a battle with Codeta’s Mfuleni Association.
Last Friday, four Mfuleni operators were killed in an apparent taxi-related shooting.
A day later, a Cata member was gunned down.
It’s alleged that this is all because of the Mfuleni to Somerset West route.
On Monday, commuters were left stranded as taxis blockaded the roads around the Somerset West Taxi Rank.
