Government’s amended budget will be Tabled on the 12th of March.
Finance Minister, Enoch Godongwana made the announcement a short while ago.
He was meant to deliver his first budget speech under the GNU this afternoon.
But, in a first for this country, an 11th hour decision was taken to postpone the speech.
This is because members of the GNU had allegedly NOT been consulted about a plan to increase VAT by 2 percent.
