Khayelitsha police have made another major breakthrough in their probe into a string of mass killings in the area recently.
They’ve nabbed a 34-year-old suspect believed to be involved in the killing of five people in Endlovini, last month.
The man was arrested yesterday, after a tracing operation led police to a home in Khayelitsha.
The police’s Novela Potelwa says the suspect is expected to appear in court tomorrow.
“The arrest of the suspect was effected by organised crime detectives in Khayalitsha, who held a tracing operation in search of the gunmen. The detectives are also hot on the heels of further suspects, with more arrests expected soon.”
