Police are investigating a case of murder after a body was found on a railway line in Samora Machel on Monday.
The unknown victim was found near the Eyadini Informal Settlement in the area.
While no suspect has been arrested, the police’s Joseph Swartbooi believes the motive for the attack is community retaliation.
“Samora Machel police found the body of an unknown person, burned beyond recognition, laying between the railway tracks. The victim were declared deceased on the scene.
