Western Cape detectives have another group killing on their hands.
Three members of one family were gunned down in Ekuphumleni in Khayelitsha on Sunday evening.
It’s been alleged that two armed men stormed the family’s home and fired several shots.
Two men and a woman, aged between 51 and 57, were among the victims found.
While no arrests have yet been made, police are pursuing several leads in their investigations.
This is among a spate of group murders throughout Khayelitsha since March.
On the 14th of March, five people in Endlovini were gunned down,
The following week, another six people were shot and killed in the Enkanini Informal Settlement.
A further six people were gunned down on a Sunday evening in Site C, earlier this month.
While a few suspects have been arrested, investigations into these and similar incidents in the area continue.
