The Community of Elsies River will be picketing outside the Goodwood Magistrates Court on Friday, where an alleged child rapist will be on the dock.
A 54-year-old man from Matroosfontein, is expected to apply for bail.
He allegedly molested the teenager earlier this year.
The Community Policing Forum’s gender-based violence co-coordinator, Charmen Gribi says they’ve been informed that the suspect had targeted more victims.
“And what is very traumatic is that this is not the first and the only child, it’s alleged that there is more children involved. Hopefully by us demonstrating, the other parents will come forward and people will start talking… about all the other victims that this man has done this horrific deed to.”
Meanwhile, a man charged with the rape of a mother of two from Bonteheuwel, has been released on a thousand Rand bail.
This comes after Taswell Booysen appeared in the Bishop Lavis Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 30-year-old allegedly raped the victim at a house in Bonteheuwel nearly a week ago.
His court case will only continue in early September.
Meanwhile, the case of the father accused of raping his two-year-old daughter has been remanded until next Thursday.
