Educational restrictions and limitations imposed on girls and women in Afghanistan, has ripple effects.

One impact is specifically on the country’s healthcare system.

That’s according to the international medical charity, MSF or Doctors without Borders.

MSF’s Isah Ibrahim is based in Afghanistan.

He says the country’s health system is struggling, with under-funding and under-resourcing.

Ibrahim adds that over the last four years, there’s been improved safety in accessing health facilities.

But, he says the challenges care still plenty.
