Farm worker’s rights group, Ubuntu Rural Women and Youth Movement, wants the management at Koelenhof farm to be transparent about the wine that allegedly killed four people, including its workers.

The cause of the deaths of Elton Green, his partner, Willhmena Snyders, Juanita Hull, and 15-year-old Meagan Heyns, remains a mystery.

Police are still probing last week’s incidents.

Green was employed on the farm.

He’d allegedly taken the wine from his place of work, at the Joubert Family Wines premises.

The group had then proceeded to consume the alcohol at a hostel on the premises.

Several enquiries have been sent to the company, but management has failed to respond.

The Movement’s Wendy Pekeur says the bosses have a case to answer.
